@MrPerryrice Joe was in the hospital for weeks after this fight because of a kidney problem. Joe had the problem during this fight and was totally dehydrated at the end of the fight.
@MrPerryrice Are you gay? How can you think you can score a HW championship if you are gay? You are too busy watching Ali’s ass to even see that Joe is putting a hurting on Ali every round. You give Rds to Ali when he is on the ropes and holding? I’m glad you aren’t allowed to score fights as a judge, then everyone would know that it is a sham. You just some assclown trying to be a man…you have a long way to go, girly boy.
@perseus07 Thats more because Ali lost his speed and amazing reflexes after the lay-off. Not to mention came in rusty and somewhat out of shape as he lost steam in the middle rounds so he used the ropes to rest and thats when Frazier landed.
@Triangulove Oh No! You are absolutely right, I messed up. I meant to aim that comment at blite13. My Bad. Plus I outright misunderstood an earlier comment of yours and foolishly shot at you that time too. Let me off the hook, OK?
@blutobelushi Both were near death,but Ali had a doctor in his corner (more qualified to speak on their conditions than you) who said he feared only one man’s death, Joe’s, had Joe come out that corner for the 15th. In rounds 13 &14 Joe couldn’t hit Ali, or stop being hit, he couldn’t see anymore, had no more energy, &was offenseless, defenseless &destroyed (what fight were you watching?), & the 15th would have killed him according to Ali’s doctor & apparently Joe’s trainer too who stopped it.
From somebody not studied in boxing, I would guess Ali would have to have undoubtedly won the fight to take the title from Joe. It looked like Ali won several rounds by out boxing Joe, but it also looked like Joe won several rounds with hard hits. Throw the knockdown of Ali in there, and also the frequent clinching by Ali as well, and you can see why the outcome was what it was. Very fun fight to watch =)
Does any one notice that the ref doesn’t wear latex gloves, and the announcers don’t arm chair quarter back the fight, they actually just tell it like it is rather than act as if they were in the fight as the commentators do today. Oh, the good ol’ days. Btw no faint station logo in the corner either. I just love the way T.V used to be good.
@MrPerryrice Experts say both men were near death.Joe was beating Ali for awhile until Angelo Dundee RIP altered the battleplan.”defeated,destroyed,defenseless offenseless” proves you have no respect for a late great champion and are a mutt.RIP Joe …..Ali respected Joe.he said neither one of them would have been the men they were without each other.what you dont know about boxing would fill the ocean.
I think you misquoted, I was the one speaking against those who try to discredit or reduce the stature of Ali I think, despite the one loss to frazier, that Ali still got the better of him in that fight, with the exception of round 11.
@Triangulove Yeah, but was he hospitalized on his damn death bead? The announcer said Fraizier was sick in his corner; you excuse makers are the pits; but was Joe in the hospital for months after those fights as he was against Ali? Not even Foreman beat Joe as Ali did. Why discredit Ali this way? I do not understand you guys. Even in defeat Ali whipped his ass terribly, outpointed him, and won more rounds in the first fight. You all are pathetic, and don’t know scoring.
@blite13 This whole fight happened for one stupid reason: Ali’s arrogance to think he didn’t have to train for 15 rounds, that Joe would crumble inside of ten, &he could prove to the world he could stand flat footed in four rounds and out slug a slugger. That’s it. Had Ali been in his right mind, he would not have exhausted himself flat footed slugging with Joe rounds 1 through 5; he’d have stayed away and boxed his ears off just as he did in the 1974 fight where Joe couldn’t touch him.
@blite13 Have you forgotten that Ali and the announcers admitted, and even when I view it, I say Ali won at least 10 rounds? How does 1 knockdown and 4 rounds win a 15 round fight? Right. It ain’t supposed to.
@Triangulove Because he damn well did. Are you blind. Ali clearly won 10 rounds to, giving Joe all the ones in doubt, 5. The knockdown is the only thing that saved Joes title. Are you blind? No more of this stupid talk about Ali was gifted fights. Watch superfight and judge round by round. Ali 10, I say, Joe 5 (though I judge rnd 8 even).

@MrPerryrice Yeah exactly, I had Ali winning this fight too. I think they didn’t want Ali to win this fight.
@IamKurdSon oh ya and the fight against foreman lol
stupid refs didnt count half of fraziers body shots

1hour orgasm
@MrPerryrice
I wouldn’t say death, but damage control will definitely need a call.
This was the Fight of the Century. Dont know why the 3d fight in Manila seems to stick in the public’s mind more
@Triangulove Wheew! Thank God; cuz once the Ali Shuffle appears…death soon follows. Thank you.
@MrPerryrice
Okay, I shall not do the ali shuffle at this time. You are forgiven.

@NeroRome its a completely different sport, just saying…..
